MAXIBRIGHT COMPACT BALLASTS
The Maxibright Compact Ballast is smaller than your average ballast, but it still packs a punch! It is compatible with both HPS and MH type lamps and gives excellent value for money. Mains electricity is converted by the ballast into the correct voltage and current to start-up and power your lamps.
The internal components are resin coated for quiet-running and reliability, and the IP20 rated case is tough and durable. This ballast should be placed on a flat and firm surface in a well-ventilated place, away from carpets or other fabrics. Also take care to ensure that the ballast is never covered when in use.
We have the Compact Ballast available at 250w, 400w, 600w and 1000w. The wattage of your ballast must match the wattage of the lamp you are using, otherwise you are at risk of fires or equipment damage.
