These NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) Gro-Tank hydroponic systems are often called ‘Pure Hydroponics’ as the nutrient solution is constantly pumped from the reservoir and circulated around the roots of the plants, while any excess solution travels back to the reservoir which is then re-circulated around the roots, meaning zero waste.

The NFT Gro-Tank system also requires minimal growing medium, in fact the only medium required are rockwool cubes that the cuttings or seedlings were initially started in, meaning a lower chance of pests and diseases which can occur during transplanting young plants and minimal waste to dispose of post-harvest.

With NFT Gro-Tank hydroponic systems constantly supplying nutrients to the roots and this combined with unlimited access to oxygen, means the plants can never be under or over fed. The results is fast growing, healthy plants that have the potential to harvest up to 3 times the yield over growing in traditional soil mediums.

The complete kit also contains everything you need to get up and running, including a pH testing kit, pH down solution, a spreader mat, water pump and all the required piping.
