Early jalapeno is a type that is tasty but not too hot. The fruits are short and cone-shaped with thick walls and they mature from green to red. They are often picked green for the fresh market and are ideal for stuffing and for salsas.

Orange version of this very hot pepper. The fruits are short and fat and produced in great profusion on plants that get quite tall and do need some support. They mature from green to orange and get very hot so treat them with respect!

This variety can be grown from seed. It is a perennial with mid-green, soft, round leaves. It grows to a height of around 70 cm.

This herb is the herb to rival basil as a tomato partner in all Mediterranean dishes. The flavour is strong and powerful but warm and complex. The leaves are mid to dark green, small and oval with a pointed tip.

A Perennial culinary herb forms a decorative low shrub with flowers that bees love. Thyme packs a huge flavour into its tiny leaves. We have found that sowing coriander seeds three or four times between March and August ensures a continuous supply of fresh coriander leaves during the summer and autumn. Contrary to popular belief, watering the plants well can actually increase leaf production and prevent bolting, despite coriander originating from drier climates in southern Europe, north Africa, and southwestern Asia.
