How to make a return?

Your satisfaction is important to us at Holland Horticulture as we always aim to provide the best hydroponic products and service to all our customers.

1. Proof of Purchase

Depending on the way you purchased your goods, we will need either a receipt or an order number to verify the order. You can return your products within 30 days from receiving the product.

  • If you are a registered customer on our website, you’ll find the order details in the orders section
  • If you placed your order using a guest account, we will need the email address associated with the order.
  • If you placed your order in any of our stores, we will need a receipt to verify the order.

2. Contact us

Please email or call us stating the order number and the reason for requesting an exchange or refund.

In the instance that you’ve changed your mind, please return the product in the original packaging and a resaleable condition to the below address. Once we have received the item(s) and made all the necessary checks to ensure that it adheres to the return policy, we will issue a refund. Please note depending on the payment method it may take up to 3-5 working days.

3. Print the return label

In the instance that an item(s) that you received be faulty or has arrived damaged we will arrange a FREE collection whenever is convenient for you. We will send you a return label via email. This must be printed and attached to the exterior of the package to return. Once the faulty item(s) has been received and all necessary checks have been made, we will issue a replacement with no shipping fee or a full refund. 

Any item(s) purchased online can also be returned to our Manchester store with proof of purchase.


4. Exchange or Refund

Please read below for our returns policy on specific item(s):

  • Electrical
    Electrical item(s)s, such as ballasts and fans, come with a manufacturer’s warranty (1-5 years depending on the manufacturer), faulty item(s)s will be tested prior to an exchange or refund being issued, in some cases, the item(s) may need to be returned to the manufacturer for further testing but this will be discussed with you when you contact our mail order department. Holland Horticulture cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by the customer through improper use or neglect.

  • Grow Lamps
    Grow lamps MUST be returned in the original packaging as this includes information needed in order to issue an exchange. Lamps offer a 6-month guarantee from date of purchase/ date of delivery.

  • Liquids
    LIQUIDS, nutrients and supplements are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
