Most of our orders are delivered within 3-5 working days (stock permitting). Deliveries are made between 7.00 am – 8.00 pm. All deliveries require a signature therefore please make sure someone is present at the delivery address during these hours.

Next Day Delivery / Dispatch Time
If your order is placed before 1 pm Monday - Thursday, we will endeavour to pick, pack and ship your item(s) on the same day for next day delivery (*subject to stock availability). However, the closer to 1 pm the order is placed, depending on how busy our mail order department is, it may mean your item will not be dispatched until the following day so please allow up to 3-5 working days for dispatch. Rule of thumb, the earlier an order is placed, the greater the chance it’ll be delivered next day. If your order is urgent please contact our Mail Order Department on 0161 273 5995.
We also do not dispatch orders on a Friday, unless Saturday delivery is specified. Our reason is we have no control over the warehouse where the courier will store the parcel. We feel this is important, especially when shipping nutrients which can be affected when stored at the wrong temperature, therefore we prefer to keep products in our warehouse over a weekend, ready for dispatch the following Monday unless it’s a Bank Holiday, then it'll be shipped on the next full working day.
Morning Delivery: Monday-Friday
Cost: £11.95 (UK Mainland Only)
For a guaranteed morning delivery before 12 noon; Monday – Friday will be a flat fee of £11.95. This is a time slot booking only and can also be subject to a 3-5 day delivery period. Saturday £24.95 / Sunday
Cost: £26.00 (UK Mainland Only)
For Saturday & Sunday deliveries, the flat fees are £24.95 / £26.00 and orders must be placed before Friday 12 pm, please note orders are dispatched subject to stock availability, if there are any issues you will be contacted by our Mail Order Department. Heavy item surcharges still apply.
Scottish Highlands & Islands
Cost: £13.95
For shipping to areas with Scottish Highlands/Isles we offer a 3-5 day delivery service for a flat rate of £13.95. Heavy item surcharges still apply.
Northern Ireland, Isle of Man & Isle Scilly
Cost: £24.95
For shipping outside of the UK Mainland (Northern Ireland, Isles of Wight, Isles of Man and Isle of Scilly) we offer a 3-5 day delivery service for a flat fee of £24.95. Heavy item surcharges still apply. Please note, we do not ship outside of the British Isles.
Eire/Europe
Unfortunately, at the moment, we cannot accept orders that ship to addresses based in Eire or mainland Europe.
Heavy/Large Item Surcharge
If your order includes heavy or large items (such as 50-litre bags of soil or large systems) it will incur an additional £5 heavy item surcharge per item. You will be prompted on the website when an item qualifies for the additional charge.
If the size and/or weight exceeds what our courier allows, an alternative method may have to be used, for example, shipping it on a pallet. Unfortunately, this means an additional charge will be incurred, but we will contact you via telephone prior to the order being processed.
Different Billing & Shipping Address
We can only deliver to an alternative shipping address if paying via Bank Transfer. Please tick this option as your payment method at checkout and pay funds into the account details provided at checkout via your local branch or mobile banking/banking app. Once payment has been confirmed your order will be shipped. If paying by Credit/Debit Card or PayPal, unfortunately, we cannot ship to an alternative address.
Plain Packaging
All parcels, no matter how big or small, are dispatched in plain packaging using black wrap that's secured using 'fragile' tape so discretion and the safe delivery of your order is assured.
Out of Stock / Delivery Delays
In the event that there’s a problem with your order, for example the item is out of stock, or a replacement product needs to be offered, we will contact you first via telephone, if there’s no answer, we’ll send you an email, explaining the situation. If we do not hear back from you within 30 days after several failed attempts, we will issue you a full refund and send a final email outlining the reasons why.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Prohibited Items
**IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ BEFORE PROCEEDING**
We will ship to anywhere in the world, as long as you pay the delivery charge as well as any additional customs and taxes charges. When shipping abroad, we cannot be held responsible for any products which aren’t allowed in certain countries, this is your responsibility to check, before purchase.
Returns
International orders are non-refundable and all sales are final. By placing an order on our website all international customers agree to these terms.
Order Shipping
Whilst placing an order on our website, you will be charged a standard shipping rate according to the shipping country. These are the minimum shipping costs. You may be contacted if an additional charge is required (mostly for heavier items). We will not ship any orders internationally until all charges have been paid. Shipping costs do not include duty tax, tax or brokerage fees, all of these must be covered by the buyer.
International orders are shipped only when all ordered items are in stock to eliminate a second shipping charge.
Holland Horticulture is not responsible for any customs, duties, taxes, broker fees, or returns shipping. All such charges are the sole responsibility of the receiver.
Post Order Payment and Charges
Occasionally, the shipping company may bill Holland Horticulture for customs, duties, taxes or broker fees. If this occurs, the buyer customer will be contacted to pay these charges. Failure to do so can result in the order being cancelled and fees taken.
Shipping Processing Time
All international orders are processed within 2-3 business days (unless out of stock). After the order has been shipped, you should expect to receive it within 3 to 8 days, depending on the destination and customs queues.
VAT & Duties
All imported orders will be subject to the local country taxes and proof of documentation required. Again, this is your responsibility to have the required paperwork. We are not responsible for knowing the laws and restrictions of your country. If any items get stopped at customs, we are under no obligation to issue you a refund if you are unable to complete the clearance.
If we receive the item back, then we will issue a refund, minus the shipping cost and 15% restocking fee. If the items get lost or destroyed, you won't get anything back.
