Hydroponic extraction systems can be noisy. These silencers can be used to reduce the noise output of the fan, and works across all frequencies of sound to get rid of those unwanted noises. Just like a car exhaust silencer, they muffle the noise when venting air with fans. Can be placed in line with ducting after the fan, or before the fan.

To really keep the noise down, use fully stretched out acoustic ducting alongside a silencer and a fan speed controller.
